Chris is the Coaching Director of CYRFC and coaches the High School side.
Chris has over 20 years playing experience on three continents. He has over 20 years of experience in coaching both men and women at club, college and youth levels. He also has over 12 years coaching boys and girls youth soccer. Matt has been playing rugby for over twenty years and has recently begun coaching.
His rugby career started at Virginia Tech where he played scrum half for four years play (1989-1992). After graduation he played for men’s clubs in the DC area, including West Potomac, Washington Irish and NOVA, until 2000 when Matt and his wife, Lisa, moved to Culpeper. In 2005 he played for Rappahannock RFC in Fredericksburg in their inaugural season and has played for Warrenton RFC for the last five years and was a key player in the clubs unbeaten record and their 2009 Potomac Rugby Union (PRU) Division III Championship.
Matt is passionate about rugby and wants to bring the sport to a new generation of players. He started coaching in the summer of 2011 as a coach for Prince William Youth Rugby’s U9 team and in the summer/fall of 2011 Matt held an 8-week youth rugby clinic at Culpeper Christian School. Matt is a founding member of CYRFC and the treasurer.

Jason grew up playing high school level rugby in England and returned to the game when his own boys expressed an interest in the sport. Coaching comes naturally to Jason as he has an extensive background in working with and developing youth.
Jason is the Scoutmaster for Brandy Station Boy Scout Troop 1202 and serves on the regional staff for the Boy Scouts of America as an instructor teaching adult leaders on how to work with youth. He covers topics such as youth development and stages of growth.
Jason is a career Firefighter and Paramedic. With nearly 15 years of experience as a paramedic he is very safety minded and will be serving as U13 assistant coach as well as our First Aider at games.
He has taught for the American Heart Association, and at Mary Washington Hospital. Topics include Pediatric Advance Life Support, Adult Cardiac Life Support and International Trauma Life Support.
Jason is married to Debbie. Their three sons Zack (U15), Devon (U13) & Spencer (U13) all play for the club.

Bob is the assistant coach of the High School side and is helping with the U-15s.
Bob began playing after college and he has played in the USA, Europe, and Asia. This is his second year coaching rugby. He has previously coached youth soccer and was a FIFA-certified soccer referee.
